Anthologies

Hollow Hills publishes annual anthologies featuring fantasy, science fiction, and horror stories and poetry. Each year we have a different theme. Find a book with stories from various authors and lose yourself in their worlds.

Still Standing

Hollow Hills presents Still Standing, an anthology of short stories about empowerment and healing. Various authors, each with their own unique stories to tell, came together to create this anthology that benefits a wonderful cause. The short stories and poems involve bullying, harassment, or ill-treatment by others in some form or fashion. However dark the stories may get, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel and the protagonists will show that they will not yield to hate, that they will not be kept down on their knees forever. We hope that our bit of fiction will show that no one has to give in to such treatment. We have been knocked down but in the end, we are still standing. The royalties from this anthology go to Crisis Text Line, a nonprofit organization that offers 24/7 support for those in crisis. Find out more about this organization here.

Reviews

“I loved reading this anthology! Each of the works took me out of the real world and into lands of enchantment, and I had a great time in every one. Whether I was dealing with a poem or a story, the characters were easy to envision and the worlds were easy to fall into, and I was sad to leave them. I especially wish there was more to “Storm-Spun,” and I can’t wait to see where “The Blacksmith’s Quest” goes! Five happy stars!”
